Colombia is the world’s largest producer of washed arabica coffees. Nariño is the southernmost province of Colombia, bordering Ecuador.  Situated just 1 degree north of the equator, Nariño has some of the highest growing altitudes in Colombia with farms planted above 2100m. Growers in this region still have a lot of heirloom Typica variety trees which often lend these coffees a more floral quality and lighter bodied refreshing cup.
